Argan oil is one of the hottest ingredients and standalone products in the beauty industry. But did you know that it can be used for more than just fighting wrinkles?

This moroccan miracle oil, as it is often called, contains 80% essential fatty acids (to help reduce inflammation), as well as squalene (to help keep our skin soft), phytosterols (to help protect collagen) and phenolic compounds (to guard against free radicals), making it one of the most versatile beauty products for those of who like to keep our beauty routines simple or who want to want to remain budget conscious.

So, without further ado, here are the top 10 reasons to use argan oil, other than to reduce lines and wrinkles (which, by the way, it does beautifully):

2. Help prevent stretch marks Simply use as you would any other stretch mark cream. The oil absorbs extremely easily and doesn’t leave any oily residue.

3. Lighten scars With regular use, argan oil can help lighten scars and acne marks.

4. Balance sebum production Although an oil, it is non-comedogenic, meaning that it does not clog pores.

5. Relieve eczema and psoriasis Argan oil is one of the world’s richest natural sources of vitamin E, so is a great treatment for a variety of skin conditions.

6. Soften cuticles Leave on overnight for best results.

7. Condition hair With its great moisturizing abilities, this oil makes a great intensive hair conditioner and can even be used to help split ends.

8. Alleviate dry, itchy scalp Apply to scalp and wrap head in a warm towel for 30 minutes or overnight to soothe irritation.

9. Soothe irritated baby skin A great alternative to chemical-based baby oils.

10. Use as a culinary oil Add flavor and health benefits when you drizzle argan oil over fish and vegetables (it’s not suitable for heating though).

Benefits of Getting Hair Restoration From Experts

Hair restoration treatment becomes essential as it makes you look younger and stay beautiful even if age is taking a toll on you. When you age, you may become bald as the thick growing hair starts to fall when the cell degeneration starts. Other than this, people can also experience a hair loss owed to some physiological and genetic reasons. What is to be noted that despite knowing all this and irrespective of the gender, type and status, the humankind has aversion towards baldness.

Despite the ignorance of the baldness problem, it becomes inevitable to overlook in certain cases. Baldness poses serious threats to our overall look and personality. Therefore, the technologically advanced process of a hair transplant can add appeal to your face and persona and you may be at your happiest best.

Perfect Solution

As a permanent solution, people generally go for a surgical procedure that eradicates the problems by its root. During the process, hair follicles from a part of the body are shifted to those areas that are affected by complete or partial hair loss. Not just a bald patch on the head but this method also raises losses of hair from areas, such as eye lashes, brows, chest and face and revives them. With one part of body acting as a source of hair for another, each process of extraction and implantation is equally important.

Requiring excellent surgical skills and precision, a hair transplant is generally offered as the last resort in treating a bald patch. It is mostly effective in treatment of baldness in men who owe it to hereditary origins. The process rarely uses sedation and employs two grafting techniques including harvesting of strip and extracting follicular units. However, both pre and post operative precautions are required after the procedure.

Costly Affair Yet Cost Effective

There are few conditions applied like it can be a highly costly affair as it requires high surgical acumen and tender handling. But the total pricing depends upon theraft counts and the technique adopted. Other factors that count while determining costs are the amount of loss, availability of donors, hair texture of the donating region as well as the case specific expectations. Repair surgery also comes within a price. So, we can say that it will be in your pocket. Hair transplantation costs have also fallen considering owing to the other affordable options as alternatives.

Advantages and Added Benefits

If you go by the trends, the aesthetic clinics today offer free advice to people in need of a consultation. Despite being expensive, the overall longevity of the process and its high effectiveness makes it worth the penny. This method has advantages aplenty including the hair continuing with its growth. You do not have to search for a donor as you are the donor yourself. The much needed result is obtained right away and the uniformity is maintained while grafting. As the consultation fee is minimal and the effect is everlasting, the procedure is cost effective and the partial anaesthesia makes it safer.

Two or three times per week for about 20 minutes are enough. With hands-free operation, you can do other things while receiving treatment, such as reading, watching TV, or even listening to music, because the iGrow has built-in headphones that make it compatible with an iPod or MP3 player.

4. Please note that Low level light therapy only works for people with existing hair follicles. It works best for people in the early stages of hair loss or thinning, but not for people suffers severe hair loss due to disease or medical causes.

Hair Loss Cure: It's Easier and Cheaper Than You Think

I have been, like you, always on the look out for the best product to stop my hair loss and help restore the fantastic head of hair I used to have and was always longing for.

I started with all sorts of products, from ineffective supplements to ineffective scalp lotions. I have spent a fortune on mildly effective hair loss treatment but the very modest improvement, the prohibitive costs and the side effects never made it worth while. So, I kept looking.

I even stopped any treatment for a few years, luckily keeping my hair loss at bay thanks to an excellent homeopath who understood my 'body' and my scalp and prescribed a very effective homeopathic treatment for a series of problems I was having, including my hair thinning. But, years later, it started all over and, this time, I was looking for an even easier way to treat my hair loss.

I there before resumed my search hiring that, by now, there'd be more effective over the counter solutions I could just buy off any shelf. Since my hair falling has always been DHT-related (DHT is a hormone which, in excess or on particularly susceptible hair follicles, causes hair loss and ever baldness), my search has been focused on DHT blockers and hair growth stimulators. If you suffer from DHT-related baldness or loss of hair, which is the most common form of hair reduction in men and women, you will know that there are a huge number of products claiming to stop the detrimental effects of DHT on your scalp: however, very few are still really effective. I will talk somewhere else about the ones which are not, but here I want to focus on what worked very well for me and I hope can work very well for you too, in a cheap, easy way: DHT-BLOCKING shampoos.

These shampoos were originally designed to combat stubborn forms of dandruff and some fungus infections of the skin which were also difficult to eliminate. In time, these shampoos showed great results in decreasing hair thinning and indeed, in time, promoting hair re-growth. This is due to the active ingredient, ketoconazole, somehow manages to have a substantial effect on the scalp against the damaging DHT. You need to make sure you buy the highest available strength, sometimes 2%, and you need to apply this shampoo according to specific instructions to maximize its effectiveness: frequency is key and you need to wash your scalp with it (make sure it goes on your scalp rather than just on your hair) as often as you can, from every day to 3 times a week, depending on how serious your hair loss problem is. You also need to leave it 'working' on your scalp for about 5 minutes each time, before rinsing it off.

However, it's a shampoo and not some sticky, bothersome lotion you need to be careful with: a DHT-blocking shampoo is an easy and convenient way to 'wash' away DHT; If you do your research, you can buy it cheaply too.

Curly Hair – Top 5 Mistakes People Make With Curly Hair

Curly hair can be an easy and effortless way to style your hair or become your very own worst enemy. These techniques and unique methods come straight from learning under a curly hair guru. People traveled from all over the world just to have a curly haircut and style done with these tricks and truthfully accomplishing show-stopping curls is easier than one would think. When you learn to stop making these five common mistakes, gorgeous shiny curly hair can be yours on a daily basis. Are you making these curly hair mistakes right now?

1. The Wrong Haircut:

This is the most important aspect involved in achieving great curly hair and the most overlooked. Many hairdressers make so many mistakes cutting curly hair simply because they treat it the same as straight or wavy hair. However it is drastically different, the shape of your cut is of the utmost importance. If you have naturally curly hair then when you go in for a haircut try to avoid having it straightened and flat ironed when you have it styled. Hairdressers can straighten your hair and cut it perfectly and it will look wonderful, that is until you have to wash it and try styling it yourself. It is much easier to see the natural finish of a curly haircut after-wards and this is when any small changes can be made. If a haircut is done on perfectly straight hair, then how will you ever know how your curls will lay you wear it curly?

2. Avoiding Layers:

You MUST have layers in your hair if you ever want to ever style it curly. This is critical because without them you will end up having that dreaded triangle top hairstyle. The hair would there before end up flat at the roots because of the weight and then stacked on the ends because of the curls. The only way to get body and shape out of your curly hair is with layers cut into the shape. They should be rounded to give a more flattering shape.

There is this misconception that with layers you will end up with frizzy hair that poofs out everywhere. This is a myth and a direct result of not receiving the right haircut and style. If you have curly hair, I am sure you've had to go home and restyle your hair after going to get a haircut. This leads me to mistake # 3.

3. Combing Wet Hair

It's common knowledge that combing dry curly hair just creates uncontrollable frizz, but what about if you comb you hair wet? When you get your hair cut at the hairdresser's they comb and comb your hair during the cut and then if you decide to style it curly what happens next? They reach over and grab the diffuser (which almost every curly hair person fears and rightfully so) and then proceeds to scream and blast your hair after having already combed out any natural curls. Leaving your once slightly curly hair in a disastrous state of frizzy fuzz.

The trick to resolve this is once you have combed your wet hair it must be rinsed with water again. Even after a haircut. This reactivates the curls to form without any frizz. Combing is best when done with a conditioner then rinsed to return it to its natural curly state.

4. Scrunching

This is how most people were taught to style curly hair. This will just create a larger, curly mess to deal with. Do not touch your hair! This is so important, once it has been rinsed with water any scrunching, towel drying, running your fingers through it will just make the curls unruly. Decide on where you want to part your hair. First comb with the conditioner on. After, rinse your hair and then when it is soaking wet you can take a towel and gently blot the ends. It will seem very wet at this point but still avoid towel drying your hair.

5. Wrong Products and Application

Curly hair is generally drier than straight hair and it needs moisture. If you want that shiny bouncy finish for your curls, then make sure you used the proper professional products to achieve these results. A lightweight cream used sparingly and dispersed even into the palms of your hands is better than any spray or mousse, which both offer no moisture or structure for the curls. Additionally they usually leave the hair feeling even drier and slightly crispy.

It is all about HOW you apply the product though. This method has been tested and if you avoid the mistakes made mentioned before; you will end up coaxing out your beautiful natural curls.

First use a lightweight curl cream – TiGi – Catwalk Curl Collection Curls Rock Amplifier is an excellent curl cream product that has worked on countless clients. Apply a small pump into your hand and disperse it evenly. Then flip your head and from underneath and using just your palms and fingers like two paddles to apply the product all over the ends. Avoid disabling the curls and running your fingers through your hair, this method is about coating the product evenly and gently all over.

Lastly use a diffuser upside down and gently hold the hair in the cup for a few minutes at a time starting with the ends then moving to the roots. Try not to blast the air to fast and move the diffuser all over, the less you move the curls the better. Flip your hair over and lean back into the diffuser then repeat on either side of your head. The hair does not need to be 100% dry at this stage as you can allow it to air dry slightly after you diffuse it. Now enjoy your new hair, as everyone asks you how you got to be so blessed with such stunning bouncy curls!
